• Founding member of NE Phila Connected Town Watch
• Helped build relationships with local police and elected officials
• Held a Back the Blue Parade and various events supporting our police officers and strengthening trust & relationships between community members and police

• Had various community events such as a fall fair, an international cultural exchange, a now annual holiday parade, easter egg hunts, movie nights throughout the community, and at Griffith playground in the summers

• Helped facilitate a hiring event and created a local job bank
• Helped beautify the local playgrounds, including getting sand back in the sandboxes
• Partnered with various organizations and government entities including, but not limited to: The Sheriff’s Office, the Register of Wills, PEMA, New World Services, the Bucks County DA’s office, and Philadelphia City Council
• Supported local veterans
• Helped connect numerous immigrant groups and organizations to resources
• Piloted the CAT-Cut Program
• Provided educational programs through podcasts and interviews with local professionals, government officials, community leaders, and politicians.
• Completed the Civil Police Academy
• Helped connect the homeless to resources to get them food and housing
• Assisted with pandemic relief by way of free Covid testing and delivering thermometers and pulse-oximeters during shortages to those in need
• Organized snow cleanup for the local elderly community
• Participated in anti-bullying efforts with the local high school and worked with school officials to work on conflict resolution and harm reduction
• Organized gun safety classes to help reduce gun violence
• Worked with PPD and PPA to get abandoned vehicles removed
• Helped create Limited English Proficiency Cards
• Worked the polls, first as a volunteer, then as a minority inspector, and then as the Judge of elections
• Was elected as Committeeman for the 58th Ward
• Created a survey for residential issues to figure out what the people need/want
• Connected local religious groups with the Town Watch to provide extra eyes and ears during times of prayer or during times of heightened concerns
• Helped get humanitarian aid to those affected by war in Ukraine
• Helped get transportation for refugees to be able to get to school
• Established the new Somerton Welcome Center
